No-cost* Community Cancer Screening
Early detection is your best protection, and cancer screening can provide diagnosis of cancer often before symptoms appear. Treatment of several types of cancer (breast, prostate, colorectal, cervical and skin) becomes less aggressive and more effective when cancer is caught at an early stage.
Norton Cancer Institute offers several no-cost and low-cost screening options for individuals who may be at risk for cancer.
Screenings may include:
- A physical exam and history
- Lab tests
- Imaging procedures
- Genetic tests
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to screen for all types of cancer, but advances in research and screening procedures have made current testing more and more valuable. When faced with the possibility of cancer, remember that cancer screening can be a potentially life-saving step.
