Todd Shanks, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in neurological surgery, both at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Prior to serving Norton Neuroscience Institute, Dr. Shanks worked with the University of Louisville Department of Neurological Surgery. He serves as director of functional neurosurgery for Norton Healthcare. Dr. Shank's patient focus is functional neurosurgery and peripheral nerve surgery.
