Who Makes the Referrals?
Our very own Norton Employees are able to refer your friends and family for employment so they too can join us to become a part of our Norton Healthcare family.

What type of information do I need to refer someone?

  • Submitting a referral is easy! We just need the first and last name of the person you’d like to refer and their contact information (including primary phone and email address).
  • To ensure that your referral is contacted within a 72 hour window, it is necessary for you to attach a resume.

What happens if the person I refer is hired?

When your referral is hired and successfully completes orientation, you’ll be e-mailed an access code to use in selecting a prize at Thanks.com, a reward recognition website where you can choose from hundreds of options in the following categories:

  • Travel
  • Electronics
  • Fashion and accessories
  • Recreation
  • Home and garden
  • Entertainment

(This access code is good for 6 months upon the time it is awarded)
Norton Healthcare, though the Talent Acquisition team, will absorb the IRS taxes and therefore they will not be paid for by the employee. If your referral is hired you are also eligible for a chance to win in our quarterly drawing.

What makes a “qualified” referral?
Norton Healthcare Employees may refer external candidates for consideration for employment, with exception of the following:

  • Current Norton Healthcare Employees, Norton Scholars, or applicants who have been previously contacted by a member of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Former Norton Healthcare employees who have been separated from Norton Healthcare for less than 12 months.
  • Candidates who are in the Norton Healthcare Applicant Tracking System or who have self-applied and/or been submitted within the last 3 months.

What happens if more than one Norton Healthcare employee refers the same person?

  • Should duplicate referrals be received, the employee whose referral was received first will be eligible for the Employee Referral Program Prize.
  • Referrals are valid for 6 months from the submittal date, after which they are not eligible for the referral prize.

Norton Healthcare believes that employee referrals produce high quality candidates and hires, but an Employee Referral does not guarantee an interview or provide preferential treatment in the selection process. We reserve the right to modify, initiate, alter, limit and/or terminate the program. To be eligible for a prize, all referrals must be submitted through the Employee Referral Program. *Although an employee may make unlimited referrals, they are only eligible to win a prize from their referral being hired 3 times.
