Joint replacement is a common, successful treatment option for people living with pain and discomfort caused by arthritis, injury or other joint-related conditions. Joint replacement surgery involves implanting a mechanical joint and removing damaged bone and cartilage. Through new surgical techniques and implants, pain and recovery time have been significantly reduced.
Before joint replacement surgery is considered, our Norton Orthopaedic Care specialists offer a treatment plan consisting of medications, physical therapy and/or other treatment options.
