Roy J. Meckler, M.D. FAAN, is a neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis and neuro-ophthalmology. Prior to joining Norton Neurology Services, Dr. Meckler worked as a neurologist with Louisville Neurology Associates for more than 30 years. He is co-founder and medical co-director of The MS Center (formerly the MS Comprehensive Care Center).
Dr. Meckler is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he subsequently completed his neurology residency. He is a Harvard fellow, completing his fellowship training in neuro-pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He also is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. He is board certified in neurology.
Dr. Meckler has a research background in myelin disorders.
